Beth and Jason - Sneak Peek!

This past Saturday, January 23rd, Jason and Beth celebrated their entrance into the amazing covenant of marriage! And they allowed me to come along and document their journey! Here are just a few sneak peeks from the wonderful day, and the rest of the pictures will come later!

After the ceremony, when Beth and Jason walked out as "Mr and Mrs Woodward" some friends from the military gave them a saber salute, and the last gentleman (on the left) hit her on the backside as a little joke :) Here's her reaction...

Ashley and Ben | Engaged

When Ashley called me on Thanksgiving and said, "Guess what?" I knew what was coming...I just had this gut intuition as to what she was going to tell me. And then she said it, and I can just imagine her smiling ear to ear when she said, "I'M ENGAGED!" Ash and I met at K-State almost two years ago through work and formed a great friendship, that even lasts 1000 miles away while Ashley goes to school in Florida!

Ben told Ashley they were gonna take a little detour while she was home, and stop at her favorite place- her grandparent's lake house. He said they had time and not to worry! I'm sure there was some cute stuff said, and he got down on one knee and popped the big question! :)

My good friend Laura and I had the great chance to double shoot their engagement session, and the pictures turned out great! It was a blustery 9 degrees out, but great lighting :) And I'm so excited to shoot their wedding on January 1, 2011 (my first booking for 2011! whoo!) Okay, okay, I'll be quiet now...just look at their pictures :)

Simply Beautiful began and took off in 2009 thanks to your prayers and encouragement and your investment in timeless portraits! I am so excited about 2010 with even more friends and some really exciting couples and events! Whoo! :) Enjoy the recap video with a few portraits from each photo shoot over the last nine months! Hannah & Cody

Hannah and Cody celebrated their 1 1/2 wedding anniversary just yesterday (December 12th)! I met Hannah and Cody through my dear friend Cassie when she brought them to bible study together at my house last fall! They are adorable, very in love and amazingly sweet people!! Cody loves Hannah so much and it is so evident when you see them together! The way they look at each other and are so in love kind it makes me feel a bit queasy :) They were so comfortable in front of the camera, it's like I wasn't even there :)

I will speak no more...just enjoy the pictures :) (You already know their will be commentary along the way!)

This next series makes me very happy! I asked Cody to give me his best sassy pose - and he gives me the pitchfork.. followed by Hannah's :)

This is their special "spot" out at Pillsbury where they went rope swinging quite often a couple of summers ago. Hannah said she even got her dad to go rope swinging :)
