Engagement: Jason and Beth

Jason and Beth met on February 27th, 2009, and 8 months later, Jason proposed to Miss Beth in beautiful Warner park in Manhattan, KS. (Same place they had their first date!) These two are so adorable, so in love and I couldn't help but keep saying "you guys are so cute!"

She is a lawyer, and he is helicopter pilot in the Army. One pretty serious power couple! I love Beth's sweet and sincere smile and Jason's love for her. When I asked Jason to tell me some things about himself, I knew right away I had met another fun client, because his response was, "I am a leo. I like long walks on the beach, romantic novels, sunsets and unicorns." Haha! It's great to work with people who have a sense of humor!

Seriously. You two are gorgeous!
Take a gander at this beautiful ring Jason picked out on his own! Nice job!

I think this is when Jason's sarcasm really came out - he saw a couple red berries and wanted to take pictures of him feeding the berries to her! Haha!
It sure produced some good laughter though :)
Dear Miss Beth, you are drop dead gorgeous! :)

For some reason I can't explain, this may be my favorite shot from the day (below):

Thanks so much for asking me to be a part of your lives! I am so excited for the wedding on January 23rd! You guys are beautiful and I can't wait to capture that love on your special day! :)

We had a lot of fun taking pictures and I'm so excited for them!! (Erica May - ericamay.com - is photographing their wedding on August 7, 2010! Check out her stuff :)

Start off with a few ring shots (what a beautiful ring!!):

Spinner's

Mackenzie is an avid follower of my blog and a great old friend from high school who asked me to take her family pictures! (Hope you enjoy your "big premier" on the blog! Haha!)

I had so much fun spending some good quality time with Mack and her family to document their love for one another and this point in time for their family! Dave, Brenda, Trent, Paige, Brock, Mackenzie - thank you so much for asking me to take your family pictures! I hope you enjoy all of your pictures and have a wonderful holiday season!

Thanks again, Spinners! So much fun :)

Family Picture Weekend!

I love my family. They are too amazing for words. As a part of my senior project I am documenting my family - and the impact they have had on me throughout my life :) (How exciting, right!) They are beautiful, beautiful people who love each other, despite all of our flaws, and enjoy life and laughter, together.

Yea, my baby cousin is beautiful...oh, babies :)

My grammy and grampy :)

Grandma got a little sassy with me when I told her to "smile" - she thought she was supposed to model! Haha :)
Ralph and Great grandma Fern (90+, she won't tell us how old she really is). She still goes dancing at the senior center and whistles at all the cute boys. And I love her :)
Four generations of t-r-o-u-b-l-e!

A small glimpse of the BIG family (not all of them could make it...)
Okay, beautiful princess :)Daddy playing superman with the little kids!

Dad and Laura!

The fam, minus my brother, he will get photoshopped in when he comes home for thanksgiving :)

My daddy :) We really struggle with taking normal pictures - haha! We have so much fun together :)

I like to call this picture below the Superman picture :)

Yep, the adorable baby again - I think I'm in love :)

Baby Cameron! He's a bit crazy!

That's all for now - look later on today or tomorrow for some great pictures of my other side of the family. Oh yes, this is only HALF! Love, love, love them and could take pictures of them all day :)
